The Beauty of Nature

I see the majesty of God when I look at His creation. The beauty that nature beholds is overwhelming and makes life more interesting and meaningful. One of the greatest wonders I have come across are the Northern Lights otherwise known as Aurora Borealis in the Northen Hemisphere. I do hope one day to observe this with my own eyes!!!

Individualism

She is not your ordinary girl. So often she doesn't compete because she knows the victor's crown sits comfortably on her head. She believes in the manifestation of one's uniqueness. Like puzzle pieces exhibit distinct shapes for solving a conundrum we ought to maintain our different 'shapes'. She shouts with a loud voice 'Embrace Differences!’ bearing ‘Anti-Groupie’ placards. On her wish-list is a need for different ideas and positive criticism from all parties to improve on the new and existing ones.  Moreover, to stand up for one’s beliefs for there’s simply no time to slumber in the shadows of others. Just like nature has it, identical twins bear different fingerprints and retinal patterns and we ought to dare to be different! Her last words being not to be afraid to be wrong!!!

Behind these brown eyes

The things that remain unsaid to the rest of the world and take residence deep within.

The feelings that succumb to the aftermath of the excruciating pain one's heart had to bear.

The fear of making these unfathomable emotions worse and almost unforgettable.

The need for self preservation to shield pain away almost like nature looking after her own.

The vague expressions and dubious wording crafted to maintain a bit of sanity.....

With that I'd like to reflect on LIFE:

An opportunity to get up in the morning and face the day's challenges

Or to slumber and hope for sunset's arrival,

To learn from yesterday's mistakes

Or to ponder on them wondering why we made them,

Or what it would be like if they hadn't been.

To live each moment as if it were the last, laugh, love, take chances,

Or to live like life's timeline is discontinuous with gaps to stop and think, to revisit the past or take another shot,

To rise and be the person you are with your unique set of talents, personality, looks, character,

All with one goal-to fulfil your destiny

Or to wish you were like someone else.

You always have a choice!
